What's Your Shower Design Style?

When remodeling any space in your home, the design possibilities can be overwhelming. Kohler's LuxStone shower collection gave homeowners the power to design their dream shower to exacting detail, but many found it intimidating to begin the design and remodel process—which style did they want? Which look was exactly them?

 

Taking a BuzzFeed-inspired approach, I created content for a quiz that asked about the user's travel, design and lifestyle preferences and provided a shower design recommendation that aligned with their responses. Quiz takers then received customized follow-up emails about how to bring their perfect design style to life.

 

It was an immediate hit. Though the quiz was originally intended as a nurturing tool, we found it to be a great sales tool and one of our strongest organic conversion tactics, with over 8,000 quiz takers and $60,000 in revenue generated. The quiz even won a Gold Davey award for "Best User Experience."
