Sustainability, Simplified

While many corporations "greenwash" their operations to give the appearance of sustainable business practices, Trane Technologies is leading the heating and cooling industry in climate innovation. But instead of simply listing its actions and accomplishments, the brand wanted to help its audience learn the language of sustainability and empower them to be a part of the solution.

To educate their audience and grow brand affinity, we created a series of branded animated videos for YouTube Shorts called "Sustainability, Simplified" that broke down complicated concepts like Carbon Footprint and Greenhouse Gases. I wrote each script based on research from trusted environmental agencies and organizations, then collaborated with animators to design each visual story. 

The seven-part series (marking the brand's entrance into YouTube Shorts) generated over 84k views and 250 subscribers. The series' success led our client to request another, this time all about heat pumps.
